Para (Try number 2)

It’s actually hilarious that my first attempt at this post appeared in the email without any paragraphs! For some reason the email engine strips out blank lines. OK, I’ll use indenting instead.

The prefix “Para” suggests a lesser division of the meaning of the root word. A Paratrooper, is a lesser part of “troopers” as a whole, but logically subdivides the whole into an important sub-group. A Paralegal is a lesser part of the whole “legal” description, but performs a recognizable subset of the duties of a lawyer.

A Paragraph is a subdivision in text which separates a larger text into more understandable, and easier to read segments.

My dear friends, please don’t take this personally, but when you have a longer comment, please consider breaking it up into paragraphs. It will make it easier to read, and easier for you to make your point.

My trifocals sometimes can’t follow the lines in big blocks of text, and I find myself rereading the same sentence several times. I read each comment carefully, and you would help me by using paragraphs to separate your ideas.

You know I love you just the way you are.

    Brother John,
This is one of the funniest unblogs I’ve seen so far. It is hilarious that your first attempt didn’t separate the paragraphs. I must appologize for I am guilty too. 🙂 Thanks for the laugh!

I suppose it is now time for i as well to be one of the admitting ones , i to am bad about leaving long comments and not dividing them up so that they can be easily understould. I apologize brother pontius iam glad this was brought up, it is only logical that we should take the time to separate our paragraphs. 🙂 i will definitely make sure to make my comments easier to read and understand. Thanks Jareth. I wasn’t looking for confessions, so much as easier reading. Thanks for being with us.

You are very welcome, i know you werent looking for confessions, but i completely understould why, it just hadnt dawned upon my mind before about the length of the comments and then i went back and looked at several of them and realized that it would be much easier for others if i seperated the paragraphs :)It didnt bother me in the slightest when you mentioned the separations of the paragraphs, and thank you for listening to me as always. I very much so enjoy being with a group of people seeking the same road of faith as i, and what i enjoy most is communicating amongst those people as a close family would.

    Hi John-
I think your email program might be stripping the space-lines on the receiving-end, not the sending- end, because both versions of this post came to me with paragraphs neatly divided. =)

That was great John! I agree. I don’t even have tri-focals and I find myself reading the same line over and over too. And I do love reading the comments as well as your posts!
