Boise Firesides

We have safely arrived back home from Boise.

The firesides were a delight! We were so pleased to meet you wonderful people, and to share the Spirit with you. We now count Boise as one of our favorite places on earth. (Although, Terri still loves Utah mountains best.)

I will be posting the audio version of the earlier fireside in a few days. I am going to send the second fireside audio to Lawrence, and he has agreed to share it with those who attended the second fireside.

Tomorrow we will once again unsheath the Un-Blog sword!

Thank you Lawrence, Debbie and so many others.

Brother John

Hi John, glad you had a great trip. A few weeks ago I began reading your blog. I’ve read all the way through it now, so I’m caught up to the present and ready to begin participating 🙂 I noticed you mentioned in the comments a couple of weeks ago that you might do a future unblog posting about the implications of your spouse not being on board with you in working towards receiving your calling and election and other blessings. I just wanted to let you know that I greatly look forward to that discussion. My husband and I love each other very much, but over the past couple of years he has lost faith in the ability to learn truth through “feelings” and he tries to rely on intellect alone. As a result, his testimony struggles and neither of us are sure it will survive, though at this time he is still fully active in the church. Right now it feels to me like we are on different paths, though I truly hope this changes. It would be wonderful to talk together as a group about how this type of situation might play out, and how it might affect both partners in such a marriage. I look forward to hearing your insights on this one day. Thank you so much for your efforts! They are much appreciated. 🙂

Thank YOU and Terri!! I especially want to thank you for the opportunity for Debbie to spend some time with Terri. What a special treat–even if it took a flat tire to do it. I praise Father in Heaven for preparing a way for you to come. The group hungers and thirsts after truth and light. And the weekend was delicious to our souls. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You and your wonderful bride are always welcome. May ZION be filled with such wonderful people………What a delicious taste of ZION. May the fire of the covenant burn ever brighter in our souls………..Bro. Laurence.

      Brother Smith,

I just felt a prompting to check the “Spam Folder” and there was your comment. I’m so sorry. I spanked the computer and told it No No. So, I think your future comments will come right through.

We loved our time in Boise, and thank you ever so much for inviting and hosting us.

      Keep in touch,

John, what a pleasure to be able to share your experiences and feel of your heartfelt joys and trials in life. Often others are able to help us through our daily struggles as we listen to each others life stories. I truly felt the spirit in your words! It was a blessing to be able to meet you and your wonderful wife. It is amazing how you can meet a person and automatically feel as you will be friends from then on. Life is truly a journey and a real joy when we find our sisters and brothers who we had to have shared a common love and desire for truth and righteousness in the pre-existence!

You and your wife are welcome in our home and back in Boise as often as you feel the need or desire to return. Again, thankyou – Your Sister in Zion Joni

Thank you, Thank you Brother John for bringing such a glorious and special spirit with you to our home. The wonderful truths you shared with us will forever hold a tender place in my heart as the fire within me burns even brighter.
The yearning to know his will, and to do his will, will guide me as I follow the path of receiving His light and desiring to become a Zion daughter of God.

It was such a pleasure to meet you and your lovely wife, Terri. Please know that you are greatly loved and appreciated and that you have a lot of Zion friends here in Boise that would help you in any way that you need. I pray that we will be able to share great truths again someday soon.

    Most sincerely, Sue Walker
