Let Your Light Shine

Dear Unblogosphere,

Please remember to rate each post you read 1-5 stars. This helps me know how well the Un-Blog is reaching your hearts and souls.

As an author, I have my ideas of what should occur, and I try to always write with the Spirit burning brightly. But this social networking world is so magical because it is a network. I get instant feedback from the Un-Blog family. You can literally shape the content of the Un-Blog to your needs by showing your preferences and making comments. I don’t believe this has ever happened in the history of the world.

Whether you realize it or not, we are writing a book together. So far we have over 500 pages, and you have made over 3,000 comments. You really are involved in steering the boat where it must go, so let your light shine!

I’ve only seen ratings of five stars, apparently we all enjoy the content of every post, but for the rating to be meaningful, we may have to breakdown and rate some posts less than 5, even if we don’t want too. Let me be the first to sacrifice by giving this post a rating of 4, since the content is not especially spiritual in nature. For John the ratings always going to be a 5. Maybe we should change the scale to 1-10. Just kidding. 🙂

I was in the Cebu Philippines temple today with my wife and a man who has come back into activity in the church after having been away for 20 years. It was impressed on my mind again, the importance of members receiving their temple blessings. The Mission has a new motto here, “Dressed in White, Twice.” I pondered the things you wrote in your last blog about the day of the Gentile. Thanks for your insights.

    Bro. Pontius,

I feel I should offer my proof-reading services to you in case you are still in need of any help. If you are interested, I may even give you my real name. 🙂 (Sorry, I’m just very leery of online transactions generally.)

Thank you for the Unblog and the books.

The scripture that states “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there will I be also” comes to mind. Whether they kneel side by side or go door to door or are inspired to share spiritual experiences through the internet. It is the same. God be praised!
