Keyword Index (Nearly) Completed

Heather V. our Keyword Index hero has completed her self-assigned and huge task of tagging all of the UnBlog archives!!!!! Tagging is what makes the Keyword Index work. Since the UnBlog is so big (500 postings) the built-in tagging feature ran out of space. Heather figured out a way to sledgehammer one into existence and volunteered to do it. It’s taken over a year to open every post, read enough to assign the tags, and then to manually build the Keyword Index page.

I just checked and the Keyword Index has been accessed about 1500 times since it was first begun, so Heather’s work is obviously of value to you wonderful readers.

When I started the UnBlog I didn’t know about tagging. I started assigning “Categories” but was overwhelmed by that after a time. I didn’t start tagging for over a year, so I was way behind.  There were hundreds of articles not tagged. Heather noticed how hard it was to find things without an index – she felt the inspiration – and just did it.
